If you, a friend or a loved one think that you might have a mental health disorder or if you are just going through a tough time in your life and you need someone to help you work through the issues, good news: Help is available.
 
Where Can I Go For Help?

Where you go for help will depend on who has the problem (an adult or child) and the nature of the problem and/or symptoms.  If you think you or someone you know may benefit from any of MHA of Rockland’s programs, please call the respective phone number under that program’s listing under “Programs and Services”. 
 
If you are looking for other types of services, including individual mental health providers, the following resources may be helpful:
 
Good Samaritan Hospital – offers inpatient and outpatient mental health services. 845-368-5222.
 
National Association of Social Workers – New York State Chapter -  1-800-724-6279 x32
 
Nyack Hospital Addiction/Recovery Programs – services include medical detoxification,  monitored inpatient care and outpatient treatment and community support.
Rockland County Department of Mental Health A community mental health center funded by State and County government. 845-364-2150
 
Rockland County Psychological Society - Regional Affiliate of the New York State Psychological Association
 
Volunteer Counseling Services -  a community-based social service agency that offers counseling for people from adolescence to older adulthood.  845-634-5729
