Program: Adult Treatment & Rehabilitative Services
Responsibilities: Provide leadership to program staff in the integrated delivery of treatment, rehabilitation and support according to best practice and consumer choice. Specific duties include but are not limited to: ensure services provided include clinical best practices opportunities for vocational and educational rehabilitation and growth; provide direct supervision of the PROS Administrative team; serve as liaison to other community service providers and peer organizations to ensure the integration of services and consumer choice; provide managerial and fiscal oversight of PROS services provided on and offsite; oversee adherence to mandatory compliance issues and MHA Quality Assurance policy and procedures; represent MHA at community and professional meetings as requested; assist in the preparation of reports and budgets required by regulatory agencies; assist in the preparation, planning, and implementation of PROS in compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines; develop new/enhanced program services in collaboration with other MHA administrators and provide telephone backup support to staff, which may involve reaching out by phone to clients in need.
Requirements: MS in a Rehabilitation, Mental Health or related field and 6 years post graduate experience in mental health and rehabilitation with experience in program supervision and fiscal management/planning. Experience with OMH regulations and the principles of adult learning, psychiatric rehabilitation and consumer empowerment preferred. Well-developed written communication and verbal communication and organizational skills. Ability to work as part of a team and participate in group goal-setting and problem solving. Strong computer skills needed. Computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite. Experience working with a diverse population preferred. Valid driver’s license and willingness to use own car for agency purposes required.
