Ways To Give To The Mental Health Association of Rockland County

(All donations to MHA are tax-deductible.)

MONETARY DONATIONS

The MHA of Rockland County humbly accepts monetary donations in many forms:

-     One time donations.  If you like, you can specify the MHA program or service you want your gift to go to.

-     Donations made in memory of a loved one.  Remember family members or friends who have passed with a Memorial Gift to the MHA in lieu of flowers.

-      Donations made in honor of family and friends. Mother or Father's Day, birthdays, wedding anniversaries, graduation, retirement recognition, or other important occasions acknowledges that you care. The person you are honoring will receive an acknowledgement from the MHA of your gift.

-      Donations via The United Way of Rockland: Go to http://www.uwrc.org/howtohelp/donationother.php and select “Specific Agency” to have your United Way donation go directly to the Mental Health Association.

-      Corporate Donations and Company Matching: send a donation to MHA from your business, or have your donation matched by your company.

-      Real Estate: donate real estate and receive tax benefits.

-      Appreciated Stocks: donate appreciated stocks and receive tax benefits.

-      Life Insurance: donate a life insurance policy that you no longer need.

-      Bequests: include us in your will or trust.

IN-KIND DONATIONS

The MHA gladly accepts in-kind donations of new or gently used items such as furniture, clothing, toys and appliances.  In-kind donations can be dropped off or sent to our Administrative offices in Valley Cottage.  Pick-up for large items can be arranged if necessary.
