Coordinated
Children’s Services Initiative
“Network”
Coordinated Children’s Services Initiative is
a national effort to deliver wraparound services to children
and families and provide coordinated, community based services
and supports to children and their families with the primary
goal of preventing out-of-home placements and keeping families
together. This is accomplished through Network Services. Network
is an innovative approach to working with families who need
the help of a variety of service systems. It is a "Family
Friendly" approach that concentrates on family’s
strengths rather than on problems.
Network brings together the community's principal service providers
who meet with the child/youth, parents, family members and others
of the families' choosing to jointly create a coordinated, individualized
Family Plan, utilizing all of the service resources of the community.
The plan is family driven since a Network Meeting always focuses
on what the family needs and expands the pool of services available
to families.
Network Services are driven by the CCSI Philosophy that ensures
services are:
- Individualized and developed for one child and one family
at a time
- Creating partnerships between parents and professions
- Strength-based focusing on the child and family strengths
as opposed to problems or pathology
- Culturally competent and family-value driven
- Unconditional: we embrace the idea that services are provided
to all in need
ALL
of our services are free of charge. For additional information
