How Does Race Impact Our Daily Lives? 

What is Racism, What Does it Look Like, What Does It Feel Like?

An exciting opportunity to understand and develop an analysis of the dynamics of racism in Contemporary America. The Mental Health Association of Rockland County in collaboration with the People’s Institute for Survival and Beyond, Volunteer Counseling Service, Center for Safety and Change, and Rockland Community College invite you to a two and a half day “Undoing Racism Workshop” to be held at Rockland Community College (Student Union Bldg, room 3214) on Friday July 18 ( 6 – 8 pm, light refreshments), Saturday, July 19 (9 am – 6 pm, breakfast and lunch), and Sunday July 20 (1 – 5 pm, light refreshments). This Workshop is open to all Juniors and Seniors in High School and College. To register call 845 – 267 – 2172 x320 or complete the Undoing Racism Registration Form. Limited number of places open. Reservations are necessary. The fee for 2 1/2 day workshop has been waived, including meals. The event is free.
