For Children & Adolescents: Respite

Respite provides a scheduled break for the family and child to ease the stress when an emotional challenge exists.  This provides a “breather” in which you – the parent or caregiver – can assess which resources will be of most benefit for your child and your family. Trained respite workers will provide group respite to your child, which may include fun recreational activities and socialization opportunities.

  • Respite is available to children ages 6-20 who have a mental health diagnosis
  • Services weekly, up to 2 hours per child for a duration of 6 months
  • Services are offered afternoons, evenings and weekends
  • We meet the child at home or in the community
  • Spanish speaking communicatin available

Fee: There is no fee.
